7th & 8th Graders
Throughout the school year students will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of after school sports offered at Copper Ridge. The following is a list of sports any 7th and 8th grade students can take part in:

Important Requirements
Before any student can practice or try-out for a team, they must have:

• “ Two” (2) Parental Consent Cards and a Physical on file at our school.
• Students will need a new physical each year
• No students will be allowed to try-out until they are cleared.

Cards can be picked up at the front office or by contacting Mr. Holcomb. Physicals conducted on or after March 1, 2008 are good for participation in any one or more sports during the 2008-2009 school year. All cards should be turned into Mr.Holcomb or the front office.


Walk-in Locations for Physicals
1) U.S. Healthworks, which is located at 10335 N. Scottsdale Rd. (on the southeast corner of Scottsdale and Shea Blvd.), has a walk-in clinic, which administers Physicals. It is open Mon.-Fri., from 8:00am-6:30 pm or on Sat. from 9:00-12:30. The phone number is (480) 991-9358

2) Next Care Urgent Care is located at 7425 E. Shea Blvd. and at 20950 N. Tatum Blvd. (Suite 190) in Desert Ridge Medical Building. Each facility has a walk-in clinic, which administers Physicals from 8:00am–7:00pm Mon-Fri and 8:00am-3:30pm Sat. & Sun. with No appointment necessary.Please call for payment policy (480) 348-1060.
